Feast of Madras

Traditional Indian Flavours

Authentic South Indian

Located in the heart of Lisbon, Feast of Madras celebrates deep – rooted historic ties between Portugal and South India, including the belief that the name “Madras” may have been inspired by Madre de Deus, a Portuguese phrase meaning “Mother of God.”

Our vibrant menu celebrates the rich culinary traditions of South India alongside beloved dishes from across India. From crisp dosas and tangy sambar to paneer tikka and vindaloo, every plate is prepared with traditional techniques and bold, uncompromised flavour.

Whether you’re craving a comforting breakfast or a spicy dinner, the Feast is served all day.

Idli

Soft. Steamed. Soulful. (Available after 6 PM)

A South Indian classic, our idlis are steamed to pillowy perfection using a traditional rice and lentil batter. Light, fluffy, and incredibly comforting, they’re served with a side of sambar (spiced lentil stew) and house-made chutneys.

Simple, nourishing, and satisfying  – exactly how it’s meant to be.
